Service Opportunities

Service Nights

St. George Share has many service opportunities. We love to work with both small and large groups. We often speak about grief and pregnancy/infant loss at church groups and community organizations. In addition, we have several projects for scouting and service hours.

Miscarriage Gifts

St. George Share provides miscarriage gifts to families in need. Each gift includes a small blanket, tiny hat and diaper, angel pendant, donation card, and brochures about Share and miscarriage loss. If you would like to host a service night to work on these kits, please contact us. We also love to work with scouts and young women's/church groups. We appreciate donations such as flannel, stockinette for hats, and jewelry supplies. If you would like to donate one of these gifts in your baby's memory, venmo $5.00 to @stgeorgeshare. Please include your baby's name for the gift. Thank you!

Caskets/
Memory Boxes

We provide families with small caskets/memory boxes to hold their precious angels or their memorabilia. These are hand-crafted for our smallest of angels who may not be serviced through a mortuary. These caskets bring dignity and confirmation to the smallest of babies. The caskets are made by a loving donor who would appreciate wood donations. If you are interested in also making these small boxes, please message us for more information.

Burial Outfits

If you would like to donate a wedding dress, prom dress, men's suit, or more formal fabric, we would love to create burial dresses/outfits for our angels. We are always looking for seamstresses to help with these sewing needs. Thank you!

Hand/Feet Molds

When possible, volunteers make hand, feet, and sometimes face molds of angel babies. We can make these molds down to 12-13 weeks gestation and typically up to two years of age, although we can go older and by special request. Volunteers then pour the molds at home and spend time sanding and beautifying the results.

These molds are a priceless gift to remind families of the physical characteristics of their babies. They are tangible and permanent. We would love donations for these molds in the forms of money or alginate. Thank you!
